I thought it may give you a new idea and way to work with your purchased leads too!

It’s an interesting thing how you do it. I personally don’t like when I get a call from someone I sign up for information but I know many people appreciate that.

And that’s exactly WHY I send an “initial” email to the prospects before I call because some like to correspond via email first πŸ™‚

  2. It seems that more and more people online are making that call. I guess it is a more personal touch and it is so easy to become very isolated when we work online. Connecting is a way to bring about a deeper relationship.

    Enjoy the journey.

  3. That’s a nice touch, Shelly. At least with an email…they’re not a completely cold lead.

  4. Hey Shelly I like your post and video. Good idea to do an initial email first. Do you need to send them an email manually or can you add them to an auto responder?

One 0f the teams I worked in had a policy that they would only talk to a lead after they had read the original email/watched any videos in it.

Nice, it breaks the ice…and if they haven’t read that email yet they will
now go and snoop to see what you are all about…call you back, or at least
pick up that phone when you call again πŸ™‚

At one point when I was working leads I used to send them an email after I left message on their voicemail or whenever I couldn’t get a hold of the lead. It’s that extra point of contact that can help open the doorway to a conversation with your leads. Most people don’t go the extra mile with their prospects/leads and it looks like Shelly you’re on the right track!

  8. Hi Shelly – great video sharing your process for handling leads – it’s a lovely touch to send an email first, and however they respond – they have had some connection with you first, good way to make them feel more respected from the start πŸ™‚
