Is Marketing Futuristic or Is It NOW?

Right now there is another huge launch getting ready to happen.  Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with launches.

In fact, I am all for them because like I told one of my coaching clients, “You can learn so much from just the pre-launch content… it’s incredible!”

But I had to make this video because I have a question for you to ask yourself.

Now I only want you to ask yourself this if, you’re not earning the income you’d like to be with your network marketing business.  OK?

Before I give you the question, the way I want you to answer it is with your gut because your gut will never lie to you.

So here’s the question to ask yourself… Is marketing futuristic or is it now?

Now my gut said to me, marketing is NOW!  Marketing is learning HOW TO get results within your budget.  Marketing is learning HOW TO create real duplication in your business.  Marketing is learning HOW TO identify if a prospect is even a real prospect.

Marketing is NOW.  It always has been and it always will be.

So I will leave you with this, NOW you have a choice to make:  Follow the herd and be INFLUENCED by a future that isn’t here yet, not to mention always changing.

Or

Settle down and learn the core, basic fundamental skills that never change because once you do, it won’t matter what the future brings because you will always be prepared.

I know it’s NOT as SEXY but sometimes what you thought was SEXY when the lights were off, turned out to be BUTT UGLY once the lights came on.

If you want to talk to me about the core, basic fundamentals skills, fill out the form over there on the right hand side OR call me directly at 888-462-5785

Until next time…

Nothing but LOVE + FUN & DOWN + DIRTY!

I agree completely, take all the free nuggets…
and there are some good ones they are giving
    away.
Unfortunately, too many will purchase this
product and never use it…like so many other
    products.

Everyone wants to be the super star without
going through the basic learning process.

Yep… I love how success is explained Alice…

“An overnight success is 10 – 15 years in the making.”

Thing is… so many don’t “get” that part!

  2. Good to hear the other side of the coin, and I agree Shelly, that one should arm oneself with the fundamental skills, before buying a course which you may not be ready for yet.
But, as you say Shelly, what is great, is all that you can learn from the pre-launch content, as a way to possibly direct your marketing and add to your knowledge 🙂

Yeah and what’s sad is Jacs is that a lot of them that will buy a course don’t really have the money to do so yet are hoping that it’s the magic they are looking for!

  3. Well, that is a very thought provoking question to all the Internet Marketers. For most marketers, going from one launch to another to be on the safe side of game to play. For 80% of them, it is because of the lack of trust in the current business they are in. There are some who really want to channelizing the income from different sources.

To be honest with your question, I kind of live in the future at the same time I keep up my current business in a strong position, before I jump into a new venture. I like multiple streams of income, but I always stabilize the business I am into and then find new ones.

Absolutely nothing wrong with multiple streams of income.

I say, if you can handle it properly, then the more the merrier!

Sounds like you’ve got a grip on it Annetta:) Excellent for you!!!

Excellent article Shelly. Having been involved in MLM for over 10 years I see way too many people who get involved in the industry and not take the time to learn the key skills of effective marketing. They burst out the gate with excitement and they hope that will be enough to make them succeed.

So I agree, keep on learning and applying the skills and knowledge from those who are already successful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge here – gets people thinking . . .

  6. It’s hard to ignore when the big guys have their launches and everyone around you is promoting their stuff. Of course, everyone has an agenda. A monetary one. And, of course, there’s nothing wrong with that. This is business. We’re not running non-profits here. But, if you’re led to believe that a specific course is the magic bullet that will launch you to success overnight, without having built the right foundation first, without acquiring the skills necessary, you are sorely mistaken. Thanks for sharing, Shelly.

Shelly, it is absolutely “now” I have also been emphasizing learning the skills.. People will have to work and learn to make any degree of success or income online. It isn’t easy but I have found it is worth it 🙂 Thanks for being real! I like your statement”Settle down and learn the core, basic fundamental skills that never change because once you do, it won’t matter what the future brings because you will always be prepared” Truth.. keep the real stuff coming…

Marketing is now and is on-going but I feel people should only purchase tools they know they will use. It might also help to get to grips with one tool and see the results before purchasing another.

  11. Hi Shelley,
Nice to meet you here and awesome video too !
I have decided long time ago that marketing is now and before listening to the new offers that promise it all I ask myself what is my goal and how do I want to reach it, then I do my homework and think it very seriously before buying. The times where I was totally overwhelmed by what was offered is finished because I know success is IN me not out of me;)
Yes, I ask my gut ( my business is based on how to listen to our intuition before taking the right decision) and I trust it, if it is a yes, I go for it;)
Thanks for sharing and congrats for your site!

    • ShellyAllen says:

I wish everyone was as SMART as you, Patricia…

They would have a much easier time in life!

      Great advice you shared here.
