Run Walk Crawl (Home Business Message)

My very good friend and smartie pants, Miriam Buhr, sent me this quote…

“Try to run before you learn to walk, and you’ll never stop crawling.”

I’m not sure who the author of it is but it sure sparked a message from within me…

Hence this post:)

Hopefully I’m not sounding too REDUNDANT because I’ve been talking an awful lot lately about marketing systems, fads and shady gurus.

In the BIG PICTURE…

I really don’t think it’s REDUNDANT because like I said in one of my emails recently…
I’m tired of the BUFFOONERY that I see going on…

The fact of the matter is… like my friend, Miriam reminded me of…

I’m not going to take the stance:  “I’m just one lonely person what can I do?”

Shit…if I can reach one person, just one person, and help them not get screwed over like so many others (including myself) have…

Then my job is complete.  (Yeah right, not complete… but you get what I’m saying)

Okay… so let me get back on the trail of where I was going with all this…

“Try to run before you learn to walk, and you’ll never stop crawling.”

I see this happening to so many struggling network marketers out here on the internet and it’s a crying shame.

They are trying to run before the walk with the marketing systems, blogging platforms, and all the other GOOBLE-DEE-GOOP out here and I’ve said it once and I will say it again…

Tools are a good thing when used at the right time and the right place…

But for the people out here trying to get these systems up and running…

And scrambling to get their content to the top of Google for better ranking…

Tell me… what is that going to do to help them BUILD THEIR NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS?

Not a damn thing… just leaves them in a SEA OF CONFUSION while the SHADY GURUS who triggered them into buying/using it keeps pocketing their money every month…

Until the struggling network marketer finally throws up their hands and says, “I QUIT” because basically they can’t get past the infant stage of crawling. (not making any money)

Why and for what???

The shady gurus keeping them crawling around in busy work and pigeon holing them into the next thing…

Instead of teaching them how to walk with the core, fundamental basics that never ever ever change.

When if they had run across the TRUTH about NETWORK MARKETING and what it really takes to be successful, their path if life could have turned out so differently.

So rather than rambling on about running and crawling let me leave you with a few things that can help you take your first steps in network marketing in case you are just starting out or don’t have any support from your upline…

1.  Know who your target market is (hint… it’s not as difficult and deep as some make it sound)

2.  Know what they are looking for. (hint… what do they want more control of or relief from?)

3.  Make sure you have a constant flow of those people to talk to.

4.  Learn HOW TO talk to them and develop your listening skills. (aka build a RELATIONSHIP)

5.  Track your action so you know what works and what doesn’t, then take what works and do it again and again and again.

Of course there’s more to the core, basic fundamentals… not gonna write them all out here…

If you have any questions or need help… click HERE so I know how to best help you!

So stop trying to RUN before you WALK and for sure don’t let anyone keep you CRAWLING…

The future is yours to take… you can do it!

Until next time…

  1. The guiding philosophy behind your article is 100% dead-on – we have to start with the simple things and master them before moving on, or we’ll feel consistently overwhelmed.

  2. Yes indeed! So many people I know are still ‘crawling’ so to speak!
